What began several years ago as a much smaller operation has steadily developed into a broader product and manufacturing service, shaped by customer feedback, practical experience and a continuing interest in cannabis based products being readily available.

Over the years, we have expanded our knowledge, improved our production methods, developed new formulations and built a much wider range of products while trying to keep the same small-business approach that we started with.

Our Story

THCBD Farms UK began at a time when our website might only receive two or three visitors at once and our product range was considerably smaller than it is today.

Since then, the business has continued to grow and evolve.

Our systems, website, production capabilities and customer base have all developed alongside us, and we continue to reinvest into improving how our products are made, presented and supplied.

Rather than trying to become a faceless mass-market company, we have always preferred maintaining a more personal and practical approach in our aims.

We manufacture, package and process much of what we supply ourselves, giving us greater control over our products and allowing us to continually improve formulations based on experience and customer feedback.

We aim to use this website, and the profits generated through it, to help fund our long-term ambition of becoming a fully licensed cannabis cultivation operation within the United Kingdom. This is no small feat. The regulatory framework surrounding cannabis cultivation, particularly where THC-containing plants are involved, is exceptionally complex, highly controlled and subject to rigorous scrutiny. 

Unlike conventional agriculture, cultivation of cannabis containing controlled cannabinoids requires Home Office licensing, detailed disclosure of the intended strains, cultivation premises, plant numbers, anticipated harvests, security arrangements, responsible personnel and the lawful destination of every part of the material produced. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate how any resulting products will legally enter the supply chain and, where medicinal products are intended, how the relevant pharmaceutical and regulatory requirements will be satisfied. 

First-time applicants and new cultivation sites are normally subject to compliance inspections, and enhanced DBS checks, robust security procedures, record keeping, controlled-drug governance and substantial licensing costs all form part of the process.

We regularly explore different plants to cultivate and different methods of cultivation for the manufacturing of products using our meticulous cultivation areas.

Products have included formulations using ingredients such as hemp seed oil, coconut oil, mango butter, beeswax and Agar with other plant-derived ingredients alongside cannabinoid extracts and not adding preservatives or artificial aspects into our products. 

This development process allows us to continually refine things such as consistency, flavour, texture, application and packaging.

Quality Over Hype

The cannabis and cannabinoid industry is unfortunately full of exaggerated claims.

We prefer a different approach.

Where scientific evidence exists, we are happy to explain it. Where evidence is still emerging, we believe that should be made equally clear.

Cannabinoids such as CBD and THC have been extensively researched, and some cannabinoid medicines have recognised medical applications. However, that does not mean every cannabinoid product should automatically be described as a medicine or presented as capable of treating medical conditions.

Our goal is to provide information and products without pretending that every product is a miracle cure because its not, it can help, maybe. but that remains to be seen.

We continually work to improve our internal processes as the business grows.

Scaling production should never mean abandoning the basic standards that made the products successful in the first place.

Basic standards include INTEGRITY, CLEANNESS, KNOWLEDGE AND PREPARATION.

Because we manufacture, package and manage many aspects of the business ourselves, there can occasionally be periods where responses or dispatches take slightly longer than normal, particularly during planned closures or exceptionally busy periods.
